My 10th Grade Personal Project, a FULL motion simulator!

Project Timeline: July 2015-April 2016

One of my biggest project to date is what I produced for my Personal Project in 10th grade at the Atlanta International School.  I reassembled and retrofitted a twenty-year old, three-ton roller coaster simulator.  I had found it on e-bay for a good price but it was in pieces and missing many parts.  I had to repair and modify components, add new wiring, convert from single phase to three phase power and retrofit the unit with a new motion controller.  I wrote all the code and redesigned the graphic user interface to repurpose the unit to become a flight simulator.

OTHER SKILLS/INTERESTS:

Audio Visual and Home Networking:

I have installed and programmed home electronics and network systems. I managed the scope of work and the installation of a $130,000 home automation and entertainment system. I worked closely with the audio visual company and provided them with the specs and requirements guide and oversaw the work being done until completion.

Electronics Repair:

I am self taught in the repair of most Apple products. I buy water damaged Macs to restore and resell them and I Fix iPhone screens. I have Installed newer hardware on aging laptops to improve performance. I have experience replacing up to 90% of parts in computers and phones when broken or defective.

My Office

Miscellaneous:

I have built several high performance Windows computers including a full-fledged custom water cooled gaming computer.

I built a kit 3D printer and enhanced it for personal use.

Languages:

I am proficient in both English and French.

Audio Visual and Home Networking

A year of careful design and planning led to the final A/V Server Rack above. This contains 3 Networking Switches with POE injection for 7 WiFi Access Points, 1 Network Router, 4 power conditioners, 1 six by six HDMI Matrix, 3 Control4 Processors, 1 IO Extender, 2 4K Blue ray players, 3 Apple TV's, 2 cable boxes, 1 Roku 4, 1 Xbox One, 3 Sonos connect, 3 six channel audio amplifiers, 2 receivers, 1 Atmos Pre-Amp and 2 powered amplifiers.

To keep up our International education, my family moved to Atlanta so that we (my brother, sister and I) could attend Atlanta International School. Since my education in France was chopped up, it was better for me to enter 9th grade instead of 10th grade. First Year undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering.

I attended Bordeaux International School in Bordeaux, France for a year and a half. I studied under the IGCSE system to prepare for the International Baccalaureate.
